Quality controls

Lesson outcomes, terminology, worked examples, practice and mock questions must map to the same current specification objectives.
Each mock uses plausible distractors, balanced correct-answer positions and more than one difficulty level; it must not reveal the answer through length, wording or catch-all options.
Every option receives a distinct rationale, while the main explanation teaches the method and misconception rather than merely naming the correct choice.
Original mocks are checked for duplicate prompts, answer leakage, weak rationales, repeated patterns and inappropriate reading demand before release.
The Senior Learning Quality and Academic Governance Lead, supported where necessary by a qualified subject reviewer, records the board, specification version, tier, accessibility review, moderation decision and next review date.
