Subject availability, specification codes, assessment objectives, tier rules and prescribed texts vary by exam board and examination year. A qualified subject reviewer must approve each board-specific release against the current official specification.

Lesson and mock-test quality gate

No subject becomes learner-ready just because it appears in the catalogue.

The current catalogue establishes coverage. Individual lesson and mock packs remain controlled until they pass the following release checks. This content-level control does not block the general Daskerel platform launch.

  1. 1.Lesson outcomes, terminology, worked examples, practice and mock questions must map to the same current specification objectives.
  2. 2.Each mock uses plausible distractors, balanced correct-answer positions and more than one difficulty level; it must not reveal the answer through length, wording or catch-all options.
  3. 3.Every option receives a distinct rationale, while the main explanation teaches the method and misconception rather than merely naming the correct choice.
  4. 4.Original mocks are checked for duplicate prompts, answer leakage, weak rationales, repeated patterns and inappropriate reading demand before release.
  5. 5.The Senior Learning Quality and Academic Governance Lead, supported where necessary by a qualified subject reviewer, records the board, specification version, tier, accessibility review, moderation decision and next review date.

Release ownership

GCSE subject maps, topic lesson outlines and mock-assessment blueprints are publicly visible now under Dr Shawana Ahmad's academic-quality oversight. Full teaching content and live question banks are identified separately as they are authored and moderated.

GCSE curriculum development and review do not block the general Daskerel platform launch. Only an affected GCSE lesson, mock or board-specific pack remains unavailable until its release review is complete.

Dr Shawana Ahmad is the Founder and Platform Owner-approved Senior Learning Quality and Academic Governance Lead for GCSE moderation and release decisions. Her written acceptance, appointment evidence and role-based access setup complete the administrative record but do not block the general platform launch.

GCSE premium materials use Daskerel's existing Launch Individual, Pro Learner and Teams memberships rather than a separate unverified product. Public maps remain free; payment unlocks the premium library and the GCSE materials actually available during the active entitlement period. Checkout does not promise that every planned full pack is already complete.

Trust and learner protection

Daskerel publishes original teaching, practice and assessment material. It does not reproduce copyrighted textbooks, locked question banks or unreleased exam papers.
Daskerel supports study and exam preparation but is not an awarding organisation and does not award GCSE qualifications or guarantee grades.
Learners under 18 use age-aware registration, appropriate parental or carer involvement, controlled communication and the approved safeguarding route. Staff access remains role-based and subject to safer-recruitment controls.
